





Just thought I'd share. I'm what you would call a recreational cook and learned the little I know from the Food Network and the internet and am working with a sketchy oven in a small apartment. In the past 2 weeks I've made Italian roast beef and this flan, both of which I've immediately called the best things I've ever made so I think I'm making progress!
Anyways, I followed a recipe out of the C-J and it turned out wonderful. I was worried because the only type of custard anything I've ever made is french toast batter and scrambled eggs, lol. I'll post pics as soon as my camera's batteries are charged!
