Making Vietnamese Coffee at home?

by Adam Smith » Sun Jan 17, 2010 8:04 pm

Long story short, I finally had coffee at VK on Saturday and I'm hooked. I've been looking online and have found places to order the coffee, condensed milk and single cup coffee presses. I was just wondering if any local asian grocers had these items in stock, I would like to make a cup ASAP.

I got mine at the Bin Phuoc?? store across the street from VK  . The little press sits on top of most glasses. Fill with condensed milk(2 ounces) and ice, top with press filled with grounds and hot water. Hope you get you fix soon!

Thanks, I'll try to make it back to VK this week, like that'll be hard, and stop by the grocery afterward.

Does this same place have the stuff for Thai Tea? Love that stuff, but know it takes some special tea to get it just right... black tea is too bitter.
