Nuts N Stuff

by David H. » Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:12 pm

With all the talk about Nuts N Stuff in another thread, I decided to head out there today. It had been quite a while since I had restocked my spice cabinet, so I decided to empty everything and start from scratch.

I got probably 20 different spices and herbs, a 1/2 pound of candy, and a 1/2 pound of coffee all for about $20. If I did the same thing in the supermarket, this would've cost me over $80.

The owners are very nice and helpful. They appreciated my business even though I was buying tiny portions of many different things.

Changing spices is kind of like changing the oil in my car. I know I should do it more often, but I never get around to it. But with a store like this in town, there's no reason not to.

For those interested, they're open until 6 on weekdays and until 5 on Saturday (I can't remember the opening hours). Closed Sunday.
