Cooking Classes

by Robin F. » Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:29 pm

I'm not sure this is the right forum, but it seemed the closest. My husband loves to cook and I would like to give him a class or two for Christmas. Any ideas? The one caveat, it works better if they are weekend classes since he works every week night until 7:30 pm.

Robin,
Campbell's gourmet cottage has the widest selection in town and they do a great job. Not sure about weekend clAsses though. You can find their current schedule on-line to see.

I coordinate the cooking classes at Campbell's Gourmet Cottage and we have a full schedule of classes each semister - weeknights, Saturday mornings, Date night classes (where a couple cooks their dinner together) on Friday & some Saturday nights and occasionally Sunday afternoon classes. Visit our website at www.gourmetcottage.com and click on Cooking Class brochure to see the remaining classes on our Fall schedule. The new schedule covering January-March 2010 will be in the mail right before Thanksgiving. You can buy a gift certificate for classes also. If you would like us to mail you a schedule, sign up on the website. If you have any questions, give Susan a call at 893-6700. Hope to see your husband and maybe you in class sometime!

You might want to check out Cooking with Mary. Here is her site http://www.cookwithmary.com/ . We know her from the Beargrass farmers Market where she does a number of really good demos.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.
