Well. Another example of stuff I never heard of and can't pronounce. Kinda sorta sounds like the kitchen equivalent to the Segway...remember how that invention was supposed to revolutionize pedestrian travel. I'm thinkin' I'll be on the backside of this revolution. :)

Well, I've heard of it and I can pronounce it, but I think it is way outside of my budget and even it it was inside, I don't think it's anything I need in a one person household.

I have seen it used on a couple of tv shows such as Iron Chef America. Basically it is braising at a very controlled temperature. Since the food is vacuum sealed their is very little loss of moisture. I don't know of any one using in Louisville and to my knowledge have never had anything cooked in this manner. It seems like it would be good for some applications.

Yeah I don't generally like to buy special purpose kitchen gadgets, but this seems like a variation on a crock pot. I could see cooking a lot of different things in something like this.
