Muffuletta

by John Hagan » Sun May 24, 2009 10:16 am

I just wanted to show a pic of a great muffuletta I had yesterday. I really enjoyed the bread on this one, it sucked up just the right amount of olive juice/oil. The olive salad was the real deal,a jar from Central Grocery. This beauty was brought to me by a special customer/forumite on a busy day here at the greenhouse. What made it even better was the ability to work the barter system...flowers for food is always good by me. I feel sorry for anyone that didnt have as great of a lunch as I did yesterday.

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

That looks wonderful!
I LOVE the muffulettas in New Orleans.
I got one recently at Lotsa Pasta, and while it was an ok sandwich it just wasn't the same. I love the big ole round sandwiches with all the meat and olive salad.
