Have you ever had an ingredient or two in the house that you wanted to use, but couldn't come up with a recipe for?

Of course louisvillehotbytes.com should be your first stop, but if you feel adventurous, here are some search engines that might help:

Just don't try to lay no boogie woogie on the king of rock and roll."

I have found the the Food Network website is a good place for stuff like this.....I've put in an ingrediant before, and came up with some very interesting stuff.
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

My all-time favorite is the http://www.epicurious.com site which has all the recipes from Bon Appetit and Gourmet ( and a few other mags). Not only will their search function do what Steve is describing, but there are extensive reader reviews of most of the recipes from cooks who have made them. I've very rarely gone wrong with one of their highly rated recipes. Brian and I both use it constantly.
