I watched all of her videos last night before bed. She makes me happy.

Wow, that reminds me of my mamaw. I still adore her cooking to this day...

Fell in love with her. Want to buy her a new knife.

She is pretty scary with that knife, isn't she? I heard her say once that she has "never" used a cutting board.

Wow....I loved that. My grandmother, who is also 90, uses a knife in the same fashion over the pot. Kind of choked me up a bit to watch.

Oh that made me tear up a little, still sniffling right now :) My Granny grew up during the Depression and this reminded me so much of her. She raised me, and that is exactly the way she taught me how to cut up potatoes and such, and she even used a similar knife. That is exactly the kind of food she brought me up on, I am definately a fan now.

This lady is absolutely precious! Her knife skills amaze me and make me nervous at the same time! I love when she said straight up, "The depression was bad."

My mom grew up during the depression as well. She taught me to fry left over pasta or spagetti with nothing more than oil, salt and pepper. It's still one of my daughter's .

She's awesome! Mom says 2 or 3 of the casseroles we make are recipes from the Depression. Johnny Mosetti for example. Maybe we should collect some Depression recipes? CD
