Goat Meat

Anyone know a local source for goat meat? We had a stellar stewed goat dish recently, and I would like to try it at home.
Bacon is meat candy.

There was discussion last year about where to get your goat :)

See this link

Don't know if it's still accurate.

Hi Ann.......welcome to our little gastronomical group.

I'd try Value Super @ Hurstborne & Whittington Pkwy. or behind Iroquois Manor Shopping Center off South 3rd.

Sort of funny story...Several years ago when I was courting my now wife Colleen, I took her out to lunch at Vietnam Kitchen and then to the Valu-Mart next door...and strolling down the aisles; I discovered at one of the end freezers,(that in any other grocery would contain frozen pizzas or ice cream on sale)was a big stack of whole frozen goats that I proceeded to grab one and chase her around the store with....How the heck she ended up marrying me dumbfounds me to this day!
