I've always liked Cosmopolitans for Thanksgiving - it's got cranberry juice after all.

I've been thinking about this one: A butternut squash white russian/alexander variation!

Bring heavy vream and roasted butternut squash to the boil, stirring along the way to avoid scorching on the edges. Take from heat and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Strain cream through a chinois. Chill and reserve.

Vodka
Kahlua
Infused cream

Shake in a boston shaker WITHOUT ICE. Serve in a snifter with sprinkling of 5 spice powder, nutmeg or cinnamon.

The next level: pour a bit of 151 into the snifter and flame before serving. For safety, place a spoon into the shaker before adding the chilled drink...
