Fresh sage.

(With fresh basil or tarragon a close second ... wait, that's too many words ... )

Rosemary and basil (that's still three words  )

In my book, saying "fresh" with basil is redundant- dried basil is only for use in an absolute emergency in a long cooking sauce...

Thyme. For Versatility.

..........

If we were talking spices, I'd probably go with cumin and cardamom.

All these in savory or sweet applications.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

If we were talking spices, as much as I love your choices, mine would be sumac.
