Lynn's throw down.

by Doogy R » Thu Nov 13, 2008 1:06 am

Woohoo. It's on Food TV RIGHT NOW!!!! The cook ladies on Flays's show even discuss how to say Lou Uh Vul....or is it LouEE ville, LouiS ville...etc. Go down to the visitor center. They have 7 ways to speak it. I bet the Ville wins this throwdown. Oh my, the chili I am cooking is unreal....I am now off to watch Lynn kick Bobby's ass.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

As an aside....I'm sick of looking at Bobby Flay's mug on TV all the time. Does he own Food Network? I think he's getting over-exposed.

Him I can deal with. Rachael Ray makes me want to take a knife to my own jugular. SHE is the definition of overexposure. Everywhere I go, there's her face on something. TV, crackers, olive oil, billboards. Make it stop!!

Like Rachael or not, I think it's commendable that a portion of the proceeds from the sales of her line of dog food will go to the betterment of mistreated and abandoned animals taken in by shelters each year. Oh, and by the way, since when has capitalism in this country become illegal? If you do not want to see Rachael or buy her stuff or read her books, then don't. Personally, I love her and think she made a mistake by not marrying me. :D

No one said she's doing anything illegal or that she shouldn't do what she does. But freedom of expresion is also alive and well. I don't blame her for doing whatever it is she does....but I do turn the channel if she comes on. I hate perky. Yummo = Yuck

LOL...I didn't know she had a line of dog food. That's awesome!

She could disappear from public life entirely, and I wouldn't miss her.

Lynn prepared Bourbon Ball French toast and beat Bobby. This was actually an episode that was on a few years ago. It's still fun to see a local beat Bobby. It looks like they will rerun this episode tomorrow at 4pm if you care to watch it. Here is a link describing the show. http://www.foodnetwork.com/throwdown-wi ... index.html
