I made the most tasty lunch today and it took less than 10 minutes.
Lotsa Pasta Whole Wheat Fettuccine, roasted garlic (from previous roasting), olive oil, grated Kenny's Farmhouse Monterrey Jack Cheese, basil, parsley & smoked bourbon salt. Put the pasta in boiling water, grated the cheese while waiting, drained pasta after 4 minutes and tossed all ingredients together. Yummers!
I think what surprised me was how little time it took and how good it was. I was hankering for my chicken portabello wrap from LouLou's, but didn't want to make the drive. I opened the fridge, saw the pasta, and voila!
Anybody else ever stumble upon a quick, tasty lunch out of your own kitchen quite by accident (excluding carry-out )?
