Bagna Cauda

by Ann D » Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:10 pm

"an Italian broth-based dip made with olive oil, anchovies and garlic"

Is anyone familiar with this? I read about it on a healthy eating site and it sounded rather tasty. Has anyone seen it in a store or at a restaurant?

,

Be cautious if you find it in the restaurant/store: traditionally this is made with a lot of olive oil, and in many cases, butter:

Low -Cal recipes are available, but that's not what most restaurants will be serving:

Let us know if you find it,

I lone Bagna Cauda and make it- but I can't imagine calling it a healthy dish. Too much oil and salt. Great for dipping vegetables in though.
