Preliminary Menu

by Matt Davis » Thu Dec 23, 2010 3:04 pm

Here is the menu we have come to after many tastings. It isn't anything exotic but we wanted to showcase some dishes that we make well while still keeping it "street food" in essence.

Also the Hoagie Rolls might not be used, we are still looking at local bakeries that can accommodate the quantity that we will need daily and tasting their bread.

I would love any and all feedback you have to offer. Thanks

I'll take two Villy Cheese Steaks and two Carnitas, one with beans, and a Caprese!

Looks great! This is very exciting!

Any plans for more veggie options? A grilled eggplant sandwich would be awesome!

Please, please, please let us know where you will be. Great menu, great prices!

Thanks Ronnie we are very excited about the menu. When we made the caprese grilled cheeses to test them out, one bite and we were hooked. They are so delicious. I am trying to integrate some vegetarian options into the other dishes. As of right now we don't really have a veg breakfast option and I would like to come up with something there.
At Allo Spiedo we used to make a grilled portabella and white beans with pesto that was delicious, I thought about doing something similar.

Mary Beth we have a twitter its looavulstrtfood and we also have a facebook fan page under Louisville Street Food, and our website www.louisvillestreetfood.com. We plan on starting operations around mid February. We will post on twitter, facebook and our website where we will be every day. Usually our schedules will be mapped out a week in advance.

This menu came about naturally after some trial and error with quite a few changes along the way. We feel the price points are good and its profitable. We aren't trying to get rich, we just want to make a living doing what we love.

I appreciate the feedback and am looking forward to more.
Thank you.
