I'm going to do a deep fried turkey on Wednesday, does anyone have good rub they use?

Thanks!

When I worked at BW3s years ago we deep fried a turkey without a rub and it was delicious.

I have deep fried it without anything and you are correct, it is good but I've had it with a rub and it was better!

I didn't jump in immediately, because I haven't done fried turkey, but when we're visiting family in Florida for the holidays, my sister's daughter's husband (what do you call that relation, a nephew-in-law?) often fries a turkey. He doesn't use a rub but some kind of injection process in which he shoots a spicy concoction into the meat at various points on the flesh. If you Google "fried turkey injection," you'll get lots of ideas to look over and evaluate.

Deep fried many turkeys, one just yesterday.Have an electric fryer and have a propane fryer that works much better than the electric. I use a Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning and there injectable marinade. jalapeño and butter makes for a spicy bird.
