Making affordable espresso at home?

by Adam Smith » Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:24 pm

As I'm running down my "want" list of kitchen items in my new home, very close to the top is an espresso maker/machine. I've done a little research on the topic but I thought I'd ask you guys for a good affordable option. Trying to stay under $300.

I was about to link the same thing: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10823

For under $300, you should look at the Saeco Aroma, Alton Brown's choice. If you're willing to go under $500, look at the Rancio Silva and Gaggia's.
