Tofutti

by Jackie R. » Sat Jul 24, 2010 6:02 pm

I bought some tofutti for the first time today (tofu "cream cheese"). I've had tofutti cheesecake before, but that's it. It's pretty tasty by itself and I can see spreading it on a sandwich or turning it into any dip recipe that calls for cream cheese. Does anyone here have any neat suggestions? No dessert, definitely thinking along savory lines.

What do I do with these ingredients, Marsha?! Are you toying with me???

If you'd replaced Endive cups for the romaine, it would make more sense to me. But then again, I ain't never had beet hummus.

I love tofutti cuties! The little ice cream sandwiches.

I also like this tofutti spread, on crackers, topped with sweet chili sauce, and a cocktail shrimp. Mmmmmmm!

Mmm - I just googled beet hummus... looks great! Thanks Marsha!

That sweet chili and shrimp thing sounds interesting, too, Michelle.
