Gluten free help please

by Gayle DeM » Wed Jul 07, 2010 9:30 pm

So I am entering some young 'uns (college kids) tomorrow evening. This is the menu:

Hamburgs
Potato Salad
Another Salad (probably slaw)
Corn on the Cob
Ice Cream Sundaes

I just learned that one of guests is on a gluten free diet. What must I do to accomodate her?

Where do I get the necessary stuff?

I checked my gluten free info card and you have a pretty good menu lined up. I think the bun is the only concern which I'm sure she'll avoid. Take a look at any condiments you may use- sometimes gluten lurks in the ingrediant list.

Thank you Annemarie and Gary. I've been doing a lot of checking on line and I am most afraid of the additives in the ice cream. I'm betting that Gilberto Gelato will be safe so I think I'll stop by there.
