well, tonight i fed this to my son: campbell's spaghettios with meatballs
dear God, as i poured the "stuff" from the can into his innocent little Spiderman bowl i was just looking at it and wondering, who feeds this to their children?????
well, popped it in the microwave and 15 seconds later he is eating it. HE LIKED IT!, i'm happy to say he didnt like the "meatballs". but, i don't think he saw it as "food", after a couple of spoonfuls he smiled big and said, "YUMMY SYRUP!" lol
i was wondering why the heck i even had that in the pantry. I remembered that my younger daughter asked for some canned food while we were grocery shopping a while back. i never buy stuff like that, but i don't want her to want it because i dont let her have it........ does that make sense? anyway, i can proudly say that very same daughter made some pasta and brocolli with cheese sauce.......all homemade, and all by herself. (i coached her, but she did it all alone.)
We always pray before eating, and my son's prayer went like this tonight:
"God, thank you for my processed food. i love you God, Amen.
