You know you eat it...So what's your favorite frozen Pizza

by Steve P » Mon Jan 11, 2010 12:11 am

According to something I read on the Good Housekeeping website Americans consume over 39 beeeee-llion doh-lers of fresh and frozen pizza each year. So...Frozen pizza, ya'll know you eat this stuff, so what is your favorite brand ?

Me ? I'm going with DiGiorno Ultimate Supreme Thin Crust. It has a reasonable semblance of flavor while at the same time reminding me of the cardboard qualities of the frozen pizza of my youth.

Come on...you know you eat it, what's your favorite... :P

CPK - Jerk Chicken

I don't know if they still make it. I haven't seen it the last few times I've been at the grocery.

I actually like the Tombstone Meat-Lovers, or Supreme. Nothing beats one of the $0.99 Tony's pizzas whilst drinking, though.

#1 for me is red baron. i love their crust and sauce. second place goes to tombstone. third goes to the $1.00 totino's pizzas. i go for mexican or combination. most people think these are disgusting but hey, i still dig ramen and chef boyardee once in a while. which reminds me, i must mention that after a night of drinking, nothing beats a dozen pizza rolls dunked in ranch dressing and a big ol' diet coke. :D

I'm quite partial to Stouffer's French Bread Pizzas. You don't even have to add anything to them.
I will eat the Totino's or Jeno's (the little .99 ones) after I add a bunch of stuff to them.
They're not bad in a pinch when I'm feeling hungry and lazy!

Ditto. I love those things, especially if you cook them by following the combo microwave/oven directions. I try to keep a few in the freezer - great drunk food.

not the munchies at all. i don't partake. my drug of choice is bourbon. i have been known to come home after a few rounds and concoct some stoner-esque foods. one time i fried two eggs and ate them on top of leftover meatloaf. one of my classics is a bag of ramen prepared without the seasoning. i make an alfredo sauce for it using butter, milk, and green can parmesan. five star!

I don't care for the frozen ones so much as I like to buy one of the Kroger deli pizza's and dress it up with whatever we have on hand once I get home. When they're on sale and I have a coupon, it's not a bad deal. This way, the three of us stake our individual pizza territories and add what we like.

Costco actually makes a mean pizza. Not as good as Danny Mac's or Rich O's, but damn good.
