Oysters

It's Fall! For all you oyster fans out there you should know that Whole Foods does fresh oyster for $1 each every Friday (and they will shuck them for you as well.) They usually have about 6 different varieties from each coast depending on the time of year. Last Friday I got a dozen Misty Points and they were fantastic. They were the big, obnoxious, meaty ones perfect for rolled oysters so if anyone out there would like to share a great rolled oyter recipe I'd appreciate it. I've lost my Mazonni's recipe.

Carla, I can't testify to its authenticity, but this recipe claims to be the real thing. It fries them in lard, which sounds pretty authentic  but I'm sure you could substitute ...
