Yes sir, senator

"Jim Bunning Repeatedly Blocks Unemployment Benefits Extension...

...And at one point during the debate, which dragged on till nearly midnight, Bunning complained of missing a basketball game. "

Well at least we know where his priorities are.

Acknowledging that they are all dicks....There are a couple around here that have the dick-o-meter pegged. So I'd have to say I'm not t-totally surprised by this little story.

Every time I get upset or frustrated with our Senators here North of the River, I'm just happy they are smaller dicks than those dicks that get elected and re-elected on the South shore.

Never liked Bunning one bit...

At least he is consistent. Consistently bad.

He isn't running for re-election, so he can pretty much do anything he wants now including telling people without jobs to F- off. It isn't his problem.

McConnell is really no better, but at least he isn't quite as senile.

I'm proud to have voted against both of them.

Monday afternoon and according to CNN, Butt-ing still has the dick-o-meter pegged. I don't have a problem if -any- of these idiots want to pick a hill to die on (figuratively speaking of course) but this is the WRONG hill.

While I am unemployeed and don't get a dime of unemployment so don't really have a dog in this fight, so to speak...I can't believe someone would be so blind to how many people are not working right now. I was out running around the other day and was amazed at how many cars were in many of the apartment complexes parking lots I was passing by. While I'm sure a good bit could be accounted for as people that were just off that day, work evenings or maybe were students...there's a fairly good chance there were a lot at home because they had nowhere else to be.

BTW... Makers Mark has a part time weekend job listed on LouisvilleWorks.com for someone that is good with people and likes Bourbon... thought that might be of interest for a few!

Well my husband was laid off last April. So what Bunning is doing is a hitting people while they are down. A real punch in the gut. If anyone needs a mechanical designer, let me know.
