Kids eat free locations

by Nimbus Couzin » Tue Sep 29, 2009 12:06 am

I saw that Brownings has kids eat free on Mondays.

Anyone know of other kids eat free nights at local places? As someone with a couple kids, and someone who goes out with other friends with kids, that would be useful info to have all in one place. Anyone know? And any details? (like is it just one kid per entree purchase, etc??)

Thanks!

Cafe Lou Lou has some sort of deal for kids - it may not be eat free, but I think their kiddie options are very inexpensive.

One of our favorite kids eat free nights is Tuesday at Boombozz (springhurst). They usually have a guy there doing balloon animals for the children.

When most restaurants have a kids eat free night the selections are pretty bleak. I'm not going to encourage my kids to eat chicken fingers, even if they're free.

Sorry, I didn't read the original question very thoroughly. At Boombozz, I believe that it's 2 free children's meals per paying adult.

The other places that we like to go that aren't free, but inexpensive are J Gumbos and 5 Guys at the Summit. At J Gumbos you can get a half bowl of any of their entrees for children. Our kids get the Bourbon Chicken becasue it;s the least spicy thing there. At 5 Guys, one hamburger cut in half is perfect for my 2 children.

Leave it to Annemarie to have a long list of kids eat free. I believe she could get my grandson through Trinity for half price. I wish

Our Best Restaurant in Fern Creek has a sign that kids eat free Tuesdays. Pretty decent food and fairly inexpensive. Don't know details.

I assume that the other locations do the same.

I agree completely, except when I have my grandsons.

They never charge us for our kids at the Shalimar buffet.

It's far better food than at the chain places, and even picky kids will eat the rice, naan, fruit, and tandoori chicken (well, maybe not super picky kids).

Hungry Pelican in Fern Creek is on Sunday
Texas Roadhouse is Monday night
Mark's feed store or WW.Cousins is on Tuesday nights
and if you can't cook for four nights out of the week than you are a terrible parent.

Tumbleweed offers it one (two?) nights a week. As I've repressed those memories, I've forgotten exactly when.

I ditto Springhurst Boombozz. Great food for everyone, incredible balloons and cheap wine ( the latter being very important for a kid's night  ).

I think Moe's has some special kid's deal on Wednesday nights.
