Woohoo!

Tony, I remember your original post, but for those who might be fuzzy, feel free to drop in a couple of paragraphs of info about A.P. Crafters if you like.

Tony. Will you be open for lunch tomorrow or any day? The louisvilleblogs.com webpage states that you will open tomorrow at 4 PM. Thanks.

We dropped by tonight and checked it out. First, let me say for just being opened, it went pretty well.

The decor is much improved over Indigo Joes, and the servers, while a bit overeager (to be expected right now), were all really good.

We had a bit of an issue on timing on our appetizers and entrees. We got them just a few minutes apart from each other really quickly which forced us to abandon some of our appetizers; but, hell, given it's just opened, I'll take that over waiting a long time, or not getting my food at all, as happened to us a few times in Louisville with newly opened places.

Did a decent selection of appetizers and entrees, and all were good. My fiancee got the open-faced fried chicken with bacon jam (had to edit, I was informed there was in fact no egg, and that I am an idiot). :)

All in all, just based on one visit, for the price point, I'd give it at least an 8 out of 10.

As a side note, they need to make that homemade ketchup available for sale. :)

Hopefully it's the real deal and not that skippity-doo-dah-day version at The Grale.

What's on the local craft beer list? Overall, the menu looks great. Can't wait to get over there. Good thing there aren't nasty tolls ... yet.

I had the exact burger (with the egg on top) at Red Robin today.
Another friend had a turkey burger with a chipotle mayo.

Sweet potato fries were on the menu too!

Poutine and fries that sounds like a great "after hours" dish. mmm mmm.

That is Canadian eh? I thought Tony was from the Bronx?
Oh well, need to try it anyway.

Roger, Tony has a fantastic line up of craft beers at his other restaurants, I think this one will be good too.

I heard the beer list is going to be very somewhere to the BoomBazz tap room in the same plaza.

Does anyone (Tony?) know their regular hours? I'm planning to stop by this afternoon but I don't know how early they open.

I'm curious about the beer list as well. I like BoomBozz's list, but I'm hoping AP's is even more diverse and micro.

It will be interesting to see how the parking situation develops. I tried to stop by last night around 6:15 but there were no spots around the whole circle from AP, to the Immediate Care Center, through BoomBozz's and back to AP's. Several cars circling like sharks for spots. I didn't have much time so I bailed.

Cheers,

Doug

Doug, if Tony doesn't jump in, he posted that they opened at 4 p.m. yesterday.
