I went there recently & they had the best scallops that I have ever eaten anywhere, absolutely great. I also tried one of the roast chicken dishes & that was amazing as well. This place is the real deal.

My husband and I have been twice for dinner. The first time, I ordered the stuffed meatballs and my husband ordered the lasagna. Although my meatballs were good, his lasagna was incredible. We both agreed that it was the best lasagna we had ever had. The second time we went, we each got the lasagna. While it was still good, it wasn't quite as good as the first time. Our second visit was the first weekend after a Living Social coupon had been issued so the place was swamped and the service suffered a bit.

I wound up getting the veal chop,a special, and it was very good but perhaps a bit too much pepper in the "rosso" sauce for my taste. The bed of mashed potatoes it was served on was wonderful. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal as well.

Service was quite lacking, I waited at least 5 minutes at the hostess counter before anyone even asked to help me. Additionally, my server had to be flagged down several times to refill our drinks and we didn't get our app because he never put the order in for our antipasto appetizer.

All in all it was a good experience, however for the relatively high prices and the lacking service I'd probably choose somewhere else the next time I want Italian.

When we went a bit back, we made a reservation for two (one of my girl friends and me) for 7:30. We got there and were directed to the bar to wait (got there about 10 mins early). We waited....we waited...we waited...had a glass of wine...and waited. At 8:15 I approached the hostess and asked what the problem was since there were empty tables. She had forgotten about us! The waitress we had wasn't the best, but you could tell she had had a hard night with some of the tables in our section. The kitchen also sent out sour cream on my flourless chocolate cake rather than whipped cream. I had the lasagna, and thought it was pretty good. My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs and was in love. The salad was adorable wrapped up like that. The calamari appetizer was not so good....lots of pasta, VERY little calamari.

Yes - last time we were there I remember having wine. Their facebook page shows an exuberant posting in April of last year about how they finally received their wine license.

Excellent Chicken Parm during my last visit (large portions)...
