Holy Grale on Bardstown Road

by Clay Cundiff » Fri Nov 05, 2010 12:23 pm

New article up at Consuming Louisville about a soon-to-open Frittes and Beer place in the former Lonnie's location on Bardstown Road from the folks behind the Louisville Beer Store. The word "Poutine" is mentioned, so I'm certainly looking forward to.

This from the LBS mailing list...

"News!

Louisville Beer Store partners, Tyler Trotter and Lori Beck, are officially opening a new beer establishment in the heart of the Original Highland, holy grALE. There will be 20 rotating taps, a small plate menu to pair with select beers, and plenty of places to sit down and relax :) The venue is currently on schedule to open in late November. Stay tuned for more info and thank you for your continued support!"

Canadians. What's not to like? Who else would pair hoptimus with chorizo poutine? Now let's pair affordable health care and triscuts. Damn them. And their cheddar.

I thought about cutting the list out but the sentence didn't stand alone very well.

Is there a website for this place? When I told my wife (Canadian) that there was a place opening with poutine, her eyes lit up. We will be going as soon as possible. Just hoping to see if they will have anything for the lil guy.
