I think it's spelled correct. They have taken over the old Ferd Grisanti's space and serve as a catering service. In addition, they serve an in-house brunch on Sundays. Other than the sign and some general information , this is the only stuff I have on this place.

Any else have further information?

The folks who were in the old Male High School cafeteria for a while? If so, I'm afraid I was significantly under-impressed.

Edesia is the ancient Roman goddess of banquets, by the way ...

Well, all I can say is give them a chance. Gumby's is a solid caterer. I had their food many times and have always been pleased.

I'm suppose to attend a Scout meeting/buffet/etc with my nephews and their Dad later in the month; hopefully things will turn out ok. I'll try and remember to drop back here and let people know what I thought of the place.

From what I have heard the place looks great, and Gumby & Co are ready to host lots of different events. As for the quality-- I have always had fabulous food from Gumby. Also, a new chef is at Edesia. Please give them a try-- another local putting $$ & people to work in our city. :D

Edesia Gardens

With my visting parents still here, we just got back from brunch at Edesia Gardens. It was solidly OK. The buffet offerings were quite different than what I used to put out for brunch myself. It certainly looked and tasted like stuff that was cobbled together out of Thanksgiving leftovers. The omelet and waffles made to order were pretty good, although the cheese in my omelet tasted a little tingey and past it's prime. The scones were very good, and the service was very friendly and competent.
Things I would have liked to have seen; more fresh fruit offerings, perhaps a carving station with ham or roast beef and I definitely would have liked to have seen some fried chicken.
With a buy one get one free coupon we thought it to be a good value. However, I doubt I would return to try it again without the coupon as I personally didn't see the buffet being worth the full price.
