Bistro 42 in Prospect, KY.

In agonizing fashion a new sign is up on the front of a vacant storefront in the Prospect Plaza. Just a few doors down from the Bristol and Hanabi an enigmatic sign has gone up: Bistro 42. Looking through the dusty window, all that can be seen is a ladder and some tools scattered about. Casual french? Pub grub? Cooking utensils? Anyone know anything?

We saw the sign yesterday as we were pulling out of the shopping center but have no idea what going in there. We can always hope it's going to be a keeper!!!

As we were departing after a great lunch at Hanabi yesterday we walked down to Bistro 42. Opening day is this coming Tuesday, 1 September. Home cooking italian with an emphasis on pasta is the word from the owners. Being pressed for time I couldn't have a lengthy chat and forgot to ask about pizza. Anyone up for lunch Tuesday? I'm looking forward to it.
