Brownings at Slugger Field

Seems that somebody is taking over the Browning's side of things.

Glad to see this is almost final. I've been sitting on this for a few months with the promise that I wouldn't spill the beans on the news.

Amazingly, they did manage to butcher Brian Reymiller's name to Remlinger......

Me too. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

Looks like someone at the Courier reads LHBF. Brian Reymiller's name is now spelled correctly. Anyway, its good to hear that Brownings is coming back, and I'm glad the brewery will remain in operation.

Whoops - I just looked at my bank balance. Never mind! :|

Surely SOMEBODY will jump in. I hope someone does, anyway. To me, it seems like a great space but maybe not the best LOCATION, currently - know what I mean?

From what I was just told, don't believe the hype. Tony did not want the first story to go out because all the paperwork and lease agreements are not finalized, but the author insisted that he was going to run the story anyway. They have been trying to keep this quiet until everything is finished. Everyone involved in the process was not happy that the story came out, and this might be the Courier's version of a retraction.... without it really being a retraction.

Things are still progressing along in negotiations, but nothing is final. It sounds like when they are truly ready to announce anything, at this point it will be in the LEO and not the Courier.

What a shame that the new restaurant fell through. Hopefully the brewery will continue churning out ales for a while though.
