You guys, Robin is very much under the weather with pneumonia (!), and although he's not sick enough to be hospitalized, he won't be able to join us tomorrow

Feel better, Robin!

SOOO sorry this is so last minute, but I was totally thinking all along that this was planned for Sunday. I have no idea why I was thinking that. Unfortunately, Robert and I will not be able to make it tomorrow. I hate to miss what would have been my first offline! :(

Everyone, we're sorry but Mark & I have to cancel for tomorrow. I have to show houses (yeah!) and Mark is working for a friend. We hate to miss out and miss getting together with everyone. We will try for the next time!
I was really looking forward to the fried chicken and Mark - the oysters!

Unless I make some sort of remarkable recovery from the illness I've been battling this week, it's doubtful I'll be in attendance. Someone make sure to eat plenty of chicken and rolled oysters for me.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Flabby's and Nachbar tonight! It was really a lot of fun, and I hope to see all of you again soon.

For those of you who couldn't make it because you're under the weather, I wish you the best and hope you feel better.

Apologies for not making it. Came down with a brief stomach bug and was worried about filling up on fried food (and the doc's orders to stay away from such food was not helping me listen to the devil on my shoulder). Judging from the pics, that chicken looks like it's expertly fried. I should have risked it.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

Man, I wish I had gotten some of those - I didn't even realize all the things they had to choose from for sides - I just assumed "fries, slaw, green beans, macaroni". That'll teach me!

Oh, well - I need to go back for some more pretzel sticks, anyway.
