Welcome to Kentucky II

by Gayle DeM » Mon Feb 23, 2009 6:32 pm

Since neither Phil nor I will be able to attend the off line at Flabby’s , on Sunday, March 15 from 5:00 to 8:00, I will be hosting a small party at my home to welcome Phil and Donna Gissen to Kentucky. (The date and time have been cleared with Phil and Donna.) I would appreciate it if those coming would supply a tasty addition to the festivities. Since this is at my home, I will have to close the invitation if the crowd numbers more than thirty, but, again, I don't foresee that being a problem. When you respond, I will send you a PM with directions.

Great! By the way, I found your pizza pan. It's in the slotted storage over the ovens. Please remember, because you know I won't. :)

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Cool, John. Yes, March is known as the windy month. We'll have to see! I think we'll forego the togas, however.
I look forward to seeing you and Annie again.

As I mentioned in Email, Gayle, Mary and I are leading a class at St. Matthew's on Sunday evenings through March and April, so we'll have to pass. Hope you guys have a great time, though.

Of course Richard and I want to be included - need to commiserate with Phil about NYC foods. Still looking for a decent bagel (for 29 years)!!! :D

Yes, Annemarie, I got your PM. I thought I sent one back to you; excuse me, because obviously I didn't. The count for our gathering is currently at eighteen.

I'd love to come as well, we'll either have to get a sitter or I'll leave Mike at home since the grandparents are out of town. I thought I'd bring NY Cheesecake and Black & Whites to see if they measure up to the NY originals! Thanks for the invite!

Gayle, do you need to know what we're bringing? Is there a list of stuff we should think about choosing from so we get the full complement of protein, sugar and booze?
