Plus (correct me if I'm wrong people), somebody ought to save Paul from being the loner representing the under 30 crowd

The more the merrier! Offlines are a great way to meet your fellow foodies and put faces with names. Paul, please add both my wife and son to the list!

Sadly, being the 'kid' is something I've grown used to at my monthly wine tasting. It'll be nice to finally not be the person under 30 somewhere, thanks!

Obviously, we're glad to have you along. That brings the current count to 21. I have faith that no one can resist Doogy's charms and that he'll find a date in the end.

If anyone else wants in, just let me know. I'll be calling on Wednesday to warn them of the impending tempest that is embodied by our patronage. Here's the list as I have it so far:

Andrea E and Mike
Mandy R
Tom Holstein+Gina
Nira K
Steve P and Becky
GaryF
Heather Y
Deb Hall
Ed Vermillion
Doogy R+Guest
Gayle DeM
Alan H
Robin and Mary
John and Anne

Any thoughts as to menu vs buffet? I just downloaded the menu and there seems to be quite a few things I would like to try. I normally dont go for a buffet, but this seems like it might be the way to go. For those of you that have been there in the past, do they do a good job keeping the buffet "fresh"?
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

John, I've eaten the buffet and ordered off the menu. The buffet is good for a quick lunch but I do prefer ordering off the menu myself. The food at Bombay Grill just kind of romps all over India with a lot of Southern specialties. My fave item in the Bombay Non-Veg Thali. 14 dollars you get 14 different items. It's like your own Indian tapas feast. Here is a link to their menu. The dish I mentioned is at the bottom of page 4. http://www.bombaygrillky.com/Menus.aspx

Paul,

The two- day (so far) snowdays have really messed with our schedule. I'm going to have to pass on lunch on Saturday. Have a great meal, and tell us all about it!

I'm sorry to hear about that. While pretty, the snow and ice has really caused a lot of problems. We'll be sure to let you know how it goes though!

As for everyone else, as I'm posting this I just made the reservations. If you still want in though, I'm sure we'll be able to fit you in. Just let me know.

Try and stay warm everyone!

Scratch the Vermillion party from the list, Paul. We've had a family member pass and will be at a funeral tomorrow. Sorry to miss everyone, stay safe and dry!
