Offline Lunch

by Scott Schamel » Tue Apr 22, 2008 1:48 pm

With Robin's permission, of course, I would like to invite one and all to an offline lunch at The Bluegrass Bistro in the lower level of Derby City Antique Mall. I just started my Spring Menu and have something for anyone to enjoy. Also, for our event, I would be willing to give all with the offline bunch a 10% discount and some of my famous Possum Pie. Just let me know if anyone is interested....

Sounds like a generous invitation, Scott! It might be good to throw out a specific date or two, so people can check their calendars. Some time after Derby?

I am thinking maybe Thursday the 15th or Tuesday the 20th. Anyone have any other dates they would like better???

Tuesdays are real good days for me, but either will work fine.

We might want to start this discussion on the main forum and then move it over here to Offlines once it gains some momentum. If that's okay with you, let me know and I'll move this one to the main forum for now.

Thank you for your kind invitation, Scott. Either of the suggested dates works for me.

We are in for either date. Tuesday is a good day for us--but either is fine. Can't wait. We have wanted to go there but it is off our beaten path. Looking forward to dining with Scott and sampling the menu!!!

Tuesday or Saturday, I'm in. Tuesday is my day off. Saturday is the evening BEFORE my day off.

So, one vote for Saturday - but a Tuesday is cool, too.

Suzi, my computer has been doing some unusual maneuvers of late  , but I think my calendar is still on top of it and it says that Tuesday is on May 20. If my computer calendar is malfunctioning, let me know so I can add it to the list of items for my son to remedy.

Sounds like Tuesday the 20th is a winner, now I just need to know how many people would like to join us and at what time. I open at 11, so anytime after that would be great.....

I will be there. I don't care about the time. Maybe after the lunch hour if you are busy than, so it is easier on you. Say 1 or 1:30. Any other time is also ok with me.
