Looking for Garrett's marinated ribeye steak recipe

by Linda B » Wed Apr 04, 2007 11:04 am

I would be thrilled to have the recipe for the marinade Garrett's used for their marinated ribeye. It was an "hawaiian" style flavor and addictive!

Hmmmmmmm

Linda, I tried to get it in days gone by myself........I do know it had pineapple juice, and teriyaki sauce.......but there was something else in it that has always escaped me. They were always tight lipped about it.

And Robert, the owner of the restaruant, and the owner of the building hated each other, and their aboration for one another led to the closing of Garretts (that's what I heard from employees there)......I miss them as well.

Cheers!

Is such hearsay allowed on this board? Also, what exactly does "aboration" mean? Thanks and have a good evening.

About the only thing that really doesn't go here is acting like an Adam Henry. That, and it's generally considered very poor netiquette to make fun of people's spelling and grammar.

Police talk, phonetic alphabet for "A.H."

You know, they're like opinions, everybody has one?

Well, there are sure a lot of Adam Henry's on the "Let's move the discussion of corporations right out front." thread, so I feel I do not have a monopoly on that. Also, I wasn't meaning to be an A.H. I truly didn't know what he meant. Please don't jump to conclusions so quickly next time.

For the record, that was general direction, not individual. If I want to give individual instructions around here, I won't be indirect about it.
