"It's not clear where the Louisville location will be or when it might open."

That made me think of the air of reverence that was attached to Coors beer when it wasn't available in Kentucky. Once we got it people realized how mediocre it was. Never been to a Jack-in-the Box. I wonder if it will be the same.

When I lived in LA years and years ago (really a lot of years) Jack In The Box was entirely ordinary. I have no reason to think that changed over time.

Jack-in-the-box came on line near my neighborhood in St Louis during my teen years. Along with White Castle, it was a go-to-place during the late night pot/boozefests. I guess for those who are looking for alternatives to a rotation of places such as McDo, Burger King, Taco Bell, Hardees, etc., J-I-T-B may add a few different items to the mix. But unless it has changed from those days, I wouldn't expect much more than similar quality food of the ilk mentioned above.

I personally have never been to one. I have however read many places on other forums where people brag about how great they really are! I get we will all have to form our own opinions on one or more open here.

We went to a Jack in the Box this past summer ,part of our California adventure. I can't say the food was memorable but we had a girl that was strung out on drugs help us find the right door to go in. Very common in LA, like I said before everybody there was nice even the homeless and druggies.
