deviled egg emergency!

by Willie Myers » Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:49 pm

help all!
it's Friday a.m., I need to find a place that can sell me a two dozen (really good) deviled eggs, for me to pick up Saturday afternoon (or even Sunday morning!).
first choice would've been Cheddar Box, but they're not taking orders for ANYTHING!! (nice to have that much business!)
Lotsa Pasta or Stephens & Stephens don't do them, at all. Martin's B-B-Que an option, but a bit pricey @ $1/egg
suggestions?
many thanks,
willie

Does Paul's have them, Willie? Wiltshire Pantry? Otherwise, I was going to suggest Martin's BBQ. :)

Yay! Paul's also makes excellent pimento cheese, which I'd buy if I wasn't perfectly happy with my own. ;)

I haven't tried Paul's deviled eggs, but their egg salad is excellent, and much better than my own. I wish I could figure out how they do it.

Regardless of the OP’s comments, Cheddar Box is really good.

"OP" says, they may well be (really good), but if you can't get their product?......

I love deviled eggs with a passion, and since it's so rare to see them on a restaurant menu I order them whenever I DO see them. That being said, I have never had any decent deviled eggs at a restaurant or grocery. They are always small and dried out. Home-made it is!

Try Old Stone in for the Mushroom Friers and especially the Deviled Eggs. Both excellent.
