In my case, just limited knowledge. The original announcement's reference to being unable to agree with the landlord sent me down one trail. Learning privately that this wasn't the issue and that the landlord isn't known for greed sent me another way. Let's just say that going out of business is sad and difficult, and the urge to look for outside blame is very human and understandable.
But I really don't have any inside details.

Well, it was either the truth or a lie.
Our esteemed host said he learned that the landlord issue(s) was the not the case, therefore my comment about the landlord issues being a lie.
Since Robin does not have a "dog in the fight", I am going with his info.
