Boujie Biscuits

Noticed they have a sign up on the old Reynolds Grocery building. They also have a Now Hiring notice up on the door. Anyone got details?

They are actually having their soft opening today!

My staff grabbed some biscuits to try this morning and we were all impressed. The biscuits are quite large and delicious!

The Chicken Pot Pie Biscuit was my particular favorite of the couple that I tried. Looking forward to trying more though.

Is this actually *Boujie* Biscuits? It does sound interesting; I'll have to check it out. (The address is 1813 Frankfort Ave., a block from the Silver Dollar, for those not familiar with the old Reynolds Grocery.)

I googled and found out that they used to be located outside of Indianapolis. Part of the reason behind the restaurant was so the owner, Cyndi, could raise money for her mom, who had cancer. Cyndi eventually had to close shop, and her mom passed away this summer, but she hopes to have a successful restart in making biscuits in Louisville. She has a GoFundMe page here: https://www.gofundme.com/boujie-biscuit039s-last-chance

Just had their biscuit and gravy for breakfast, and it was pretty great. I’ll be back for lunch as soon as my schedule permits.
