I mentioned in the carryout tipping discussion that I drive for Uber Eats. If you're interested in seeing how Uber pays its drivers for this service, I have posted my deliveries from last night. p/u = pick up d/o = drop off Boost = specific times of day/specific areas in town are considered busier and pay anywhere from 1.4x to 3x the normal Uber fee. FYI, I have no idea what Uber charges the customer. These are just my payouts.

Total for the night was $89.20 and it was a very slow night. I didn't have any runs from 6:30 until 8:49. I wasted a lot of gas driving around the food strips- Highlands, Hurstbourne, Preston Hwy, Shelbyville Rd for hours with no deliveries to offset the cost. Interesting to note that NOT ONE DELIVERY last night tipped. I have never delivered pizzas or anything, so I'm not sure what restaurant delivery drivers normally make. And I'm not complaining about the pay. No one is forcing me to drive. I just think it's interesting that I delivered to a house easily worth $3,000,000 (yes, I looked it up online when I got home) and also had two people who noted that they were going to tip through the app, yet no one bothered with a tip.
