LOL. I waited tables for several years, so I know the job. You do realize your job and my former job is to write food orders down, refill diet cokes, walk food from a kitchen to a table and take dirty dishes away? You seem to have the opinion replacing you is equal to replacing a Supreme Court Justice.

Depends. Is Trump naming my replacement?

GTFO with this. You want to belittle what I do? I’m sure there are plenty of others on this board who take offense to your simplistic characterization.

Once you start referring to the people who pay your bills as jackasses, your views don’t matter to me.

Anyone who calls their bosses’ customers jackasses on social media are not very intelligent. You seem to not understand that.

I’ve always made it clear that any opinion I state on here is entirely my own. And I haven’t really said anything too risqué to warrant your insinuation. Just that maybe you should consider the closing time of a restaurant before you walk in.

Still lacking common awareness. I foresee a Golden Corral uniform in your future.

Well... if it comes to that, I’ll make sure to swing by your regular table.

I have never dined there but have eaten at the establishment you work for many times.

Well, that escalated quickly.

It looks like I'm actually more of an asshole because half and half tea is what I order everywhere I go, and I frequently ask for a booth if one is available (if I have time before they start walking us to a table. Otherwise I take the table and don't say anything).

Haha Alanna, you’re not an asshole. I was just trolling Charles. With great success it seems.

You might not want to take a poll on that.

So, where do you work, Gary?

As I’ve said in previous posts, I never bring up my employer. Any opinion stated should be viewed as mine and not a reflection of them.

No worries. I think most of us already know. Just wondered, in the light of your very public reveal on your attitude toward customers, if you were willing to take the risk of blowback. Figured not.

I wouldn’t call it a public reveal. If you talk to any server for any length of time you’ll find that we all bitch about basically the same things. And late night diners are one of them. What blowback do I really deserve for having an opinion that most industry people share?
