Robin, I'll be seeing Michael this evening and I'll be glad to let him know that Tuesday, Jan. 16 / 6:30p is the target. As for headcount, I'll tell him that the current count is between 20-25, but I will update that with him on Monday, the 15th. So everyone please double-check your commitment and let us know by Monday if it's anything *other* than what you had posted?
On behalf of Michael & Siobhan, *HUGE* thanks to all for participating and Jayne and I will look forward to meeting you all on Tuesday!

You can put down Suzi and I for it.

hey everyone!
my wife and I had dinner with Michael (Reidy - co-owner of The Rover) last night and he's over-the-moon about having a bunch of HotByte-er's down next Tuesday the 16th at 6:30p. He said that he would give us two adjoining 10-12 tops, which should accommodate up to about 24. Our current headcount is somewhere between 20-25.
so i told him that I would give him a spot-on, accurate headcount no later than lunchtime, Monday the 15th. So, if you've already posted here, reserving your spot(s), not to worry - - you've already in! But if you need to alter (or cancel) your spot(s), please let me know with a post here by lunch-Monday.
See you all on Tuesday night!

Two for Leah and Gordon! It may get crowded, folks ... The Rover is telling us now that it's going to be cramped on Tuesday night and that Jan. 23 might actually have been better. <gulp>

23rd is ok for us if it needs to change. Either is fine.

Does Rover have a private room upstairs?

No private room, but I'm happy with Willie's response. As you were, at ease, nothing to see here.

Sorry you guys can't make it. We'll have to do something else before long, maybe when it warms up a little.

So is it the 16th or the 23rd
Oops! I see from the other thread it’s still the 16th.
