As we re-imagine our food and beverage space the Restaurant General Manager is a vital role for our company. They must display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent service and create a positive atmosphere for internal and external guests. They also serve as a community ambassador by partnering with Louisville area organizations.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager and the following characteristics:

Upscale Dining experience
Possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
Bourbon knowledge is a must and wine knowledge is a plus
Experience in Special Event Planning
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Complete comprehension of P & L Statements from top to bottom.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws/regulations, compliance with food handling/sanitation standards and local, state and Federal liquor laws.
Consistently remain self-driven, innovative and posses the commitment to become an industry leader.
Maintain service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge.
Review staffing levels to ensure guest experience, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
Recruit and retain a service team that is passionate about their craft, respectful of others and genuinely committed to exceeding guest expectations.
Serve as a role model and demonstrate appropriate and professional behavior.
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Identify training and developmental needs of staff to provide an environment of learning and growth.
Provide leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.
Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management.
