Hmm, I'd try that. Where do you get chickpea flour, David? Rainbow Blossom? I doubt we have any Burmese/Myanmar food shops (or restaurants) around town, but maybe Asian markets might have it?

That's where I'd start. They carry the Bob's Red Mill line of products. When I was looking for 00 flour, I found Rainbow Blossom had dozens of Red Mill varieties. Didn't notice if they carried the chickpea/garbanzo specifically, but Red Mill produces it:
