July 4 closings, special events?

by Robin Garr » Sat Jul 01, 2017 8:35 am

Independence Day falling on a Tuesday this year, will that prompt restaurateurs to take an extra day off? Or to plan a special event on Tuesday or the night before? If you have information, post it here!

Asiatique closed July 4, specials this week

by Robin Garr » Sat Jul 01, 2017 8:36 am

Asiatique will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 to celebrate our country's Independence Day. We will be open on Monday prior to that and the Wednesday, July 5. I hope everyone has an enjoyable holiday.

To celebrate the holiday we will be featuring a special item "Bao Buns", this Friday to Monday. It is basically a Chinese bread roll wrapped around bbq chicken, gochujang aioli, and pickled daikon. The buns are made of rice and wheat flour. We will also be featuring a few beverages to accompany this item.

To celebrate July 4th, Mirin will be offering "America: The Ramen". This will be a play on a traditional ramen noodle dish, and will include a Spaghetti and Meatball Cheeseburger garnish that you have to eat while lighting a bottle rocket and repeating the phrase THESE COLORS DONT RUN.

.... no, but we are open for regular business, 11am-10pm.
