Check out http://www.GN1Food.com or like fb.com/GN1Food and try the first authentic German Döner Kebap in Louisville!

Thanks,

Yeah, yeah...ok, authentic German Doner kebab, brats, etc. But what about your pizza? Don't you serve any pizza on that truck?

It's my brother's food truck, he serves Döner and brats... no pizza.

Just playing with you, Sargon. This sounds great and I hope one day your brother can develop this into a standing restaurant. We have far too few options of this kind in Louisville.

By the way, speaking of brats, Oktoberfest takes place this Fri-Sat at the German-American Club. I went for the first time last year. I enjoyed the festive American-German atmosphere and some food choices that one doesn't find easily in town. It was a worthwhile experience.

Hi Sargon,
Is Ibrahim your brother? Just curious if he, the original poster, is indeed the person behind the food truck. Also, I noticed the menu only lists chicken döner kebab. Is that the case, or is beef and lamb also available? Regardless, I look forward to trying it sometime.

Hey Sorry for the late response...
Ibrahim is not my brother :)
And my brother Samuel (https://gn1food.com/german-food-truck-about-us/) offers chicken and beef'n'lamb döner kebab https://gn1food.com/menu
Oh you will get full for sure at his food truck with spending $8.50... includes a throwback to Germany :)

Cheers

Sargon, you might tell your brother that the website is very nice and, while it's great to see the excellent pictures of the food, it would be helpful to see a picrture of the truck, as well?

We've eaten at Germanys#1 food truck several times at festivals and I get it often downtown for lunch. ( across from Vincenzo's) The doner is very good and I think a good value. Love their house sauce, and that they offer a salad option for those not wanting all the carbs. Great people too!
