Frequent reader, infrequent poster, with a challenge: we're in the mood for brunch. We'd also love a view, but not of the city -- what we crave is a nature view. Green space or river, trees or water, creek or forest or field, even a nice little courtyard that's well done, doesn't much matter. Our little Highlands yard just isn't cutting it, but it's a little steamy and damp for a picnic. Several first-thought candidates are closed, either because it's Sunday or for long-term/permanent closure. Dreaming of a lovely little tea house with light, delicious things and a green atmosphere, but just not sure where to find that. Don't want to taint the results, so I won't mention the places we've considered. Curious to see what you all suggest!
(FWIW, we don't eat red meat or pork, so fancy hams and roasts and such don't really sway us. And we have a grade-schooler, for that extra little twist.)
