Stainless Steel countertops?

by Mary Anne » Wed Jul 13, 2016 4:57 pm

Does anyone have any experience with stainless counter tops in their home kitchen? I am building a kitchen and find myself looking and re-looking at stainless. Who installs these in the Louisville area? I'd appreciate any input please...

Maybe call one of the restaurant supply houses and ask who does restaurant installations?
Since you're doing a smaller than commercial (I'm assuming) installation maybe they would have some remnants from a bigger job?

Mary Anne did you have any luck getting info about your countertops? I'm thinking I might do something similar.

Carla and Mary Ann,

I would be happy to price you Stainless Steel Counter tops. With or without Weld-in Sinks. We fabricate in house.

Thanks,

Scott Rudd

Carla, I did decide to go with Stainless countertops! Sadly I didn't see the referral here for Scott Rudd but went with Louisville Metalcraft that my contractor found. They haven't been installed yet, but I'll post pics on here when they are. I think they are going to work well for me.

Finally, the stainless countertops are done and I can share pics. I think I'm going to really like this kitchen :D

Yeah, I really like those counter tops but I have a serious crush on that sink!

Carla, the sink is the original 100 year old sink from the original kitchen in the house, we had it re-porcelained and it came out looking wonderful. It's sort of shallow but really big. :D

I really like the modified country sink look with the backsplash as one piece.
(Sigh) Now I have sink envy.
