Massage therapy for service industry folks

by Paul T Carney » Mon Mar 17, 2014 12:55 pm

Hello all,
After consulting with Robin and getting his conditional okay . . .
I'm a massage therapist with my own small business, and I started last year offering half-price therapy to people working service industry jobs. My motivation really comes from my respect for the people who do the work, and my desire to see them be able to have access to therapy that they often can't afford.
I don't want to use this forum for free advertising, but it is difficult to get the word out to the people I want to to reach. I've worked some with APRON, the non-profit that helps with financial needs, and I've had some word-of-mouth success.
I'll leave my website and contact info at the bottom, and please, if you think it's appropriate, pass that information on. Those bad backs, carpal-tunnel syndromes, and plantar fasciitis issues can cripple and destroy careers and lives.
And don't hesitate to let me know if you think that this isn't appropriate for the forum.
Thank you for your time!
Paul

I have no problem with this. And besides, you quoted Terry Pratchett!

Paul:

You may very well be the hero of everyone in the business.

Thanks for this gesture and letting us know.

I know as soon as I have time, I'll be paying you a visit.

Thanks, again, for letting me post this here. I've been able to work with several chefs and servers so far, and the response has been really positive.
