Hilton Head dining

Don't see anything recent in related threads. Anybody been there in, say, the last year with recommendations to try or avoid? There seems no shortage of possibilities as well as opinions on the usually suspect anonymous review sites, so we'd like more trustworthy pointers for our first time there. We're looking at pretty much staying on the island, maybe getting around by bicycles. No particular cuisine in mind as long as they at least have been & wine. Only exception is if folks have breakfast ideas. Thanks!

Breakfast: Skillets in Coligny Plaza, Signe's not too far from there

Pricier dinners at Charlie's Etoile Vert, CQs in Harbourtown area (under the radar place), enjoyed Old Fort Pub on last visit. More casual dinners: Skull Creek Boathouse
Change of pace: Santa Fe Cafe for southwest fare

Thanks, Jay, I've noted Skillets in particular and we already had Skull Creek Boathouse as a possible so it's good to have confirmation.
Now that we are retired we seldom seek out the upscale places while traveling. We save those for the special occasion staying at home!
